Sometimes, the parcelling out of typewriter bits (or other old things) saddens me but it is better to be used creatively than to be thrown away. I was at an art show in Monclair, NJ last weekend. They were selling 'shift key' earrings made from typewriters.

ha! you just reminded me of a lil chat i had about that song - cleared up some confusion! i quote:
